Reconstructed for the new Millennium. Machined from
billet 6061, same as it ever was. Same finish and 5
anodized colors. But now built for today's 1-1/8"
threadless forks, and with engraved PRO NECK lettering on
top and
bottom, you can choose to run it up or down. Also, 3 silver
aluminum spacers are included to let you fine tune stem
height.
The top cap is 20% thicker, while the main stem body is 60%
thicker than the original - yet the look of the original stem
is maintained.
Available in only one reach - 55 mm. Weight is 15.5
oz.
A comment on anodizing: We use a local anodizing shop
with over 30 years of experience. The process used
conforms to MIL-A-8625 Type II. They use the latest,
most advanced dye formulations, which offer the best
resistance to fading.
